About the Role

You will own PCBA test-station delivery from architecture and circuit design through validation, deployment, and reliable operation. You will create fixtures and test code, integrate instruments, debug boards, and support deployment and operation at contract manufacturers.

Requirements

  • Ability to independently deliver electronics test-system projects from ambiguous requirements through sustained use
  • Hands-on circuit and fixture-interface design, board bring-up, power delivery, signal switching, and instrument integration
  • Ability to debug PCBAs and test hardware using oscilloscopes, meters, logic analyzers, and root-cause investigation
  • Ability to write and maintain hardware-interfacing code in Python or a comparable language
  • Understanding of grounding, signal integrity, calibration, measurement uncertainty, ESD, power sequencing, and electrical protection
  • Ability to create test and hardware documentation and support deployment at contract manufacturers

Responsibilities

  • Own PCBA test-station architecture and device-under-test interfaces
  • Translate board requirements and failure modes into test coverage, measurement methods, and pass/fail criteria
  • Design fixture interface boards, switching circuits, harnesses, connectors, schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams
  • Integrate and validate instrumentation, calibration, timing, accuracy, and repeatability
  • Develop and debug JTAG/SWD, UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, and Ethernet interfaces
  • Design electrical protection, power sequencing, interlocks, and fault recovery
  • Write and maintain test code for instrument control, programming, diagnostics, automation, and result logging
  • Establish station commissioning, maintenance, calibration, and configuration control
  • Improve test coverage, false-failure rate, cycle time, and station uptime
  • Deploy, accept, troubleshoot, and document test stations at contract manufacturers

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with employer Health Savings Account contributions
  • Pre-tax Health FSA, Dependent Care FSA, parking, and transit accounts
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
  • Paid parental, medical, and caregiver leave
  • Flexible PTO or up to 15 annual days for non-exempt employees
  • Paid company holidays, office closures, and sick or safe time
  • Mental health and wellness support
  • Employer-paid basic life and disability coverage
  • Daily office meals and eligible meal-delivery credits
  • Relocation support for eligible employees
  • Charitable donation matching and wellness stipends may be provided
