About the Role
You will design, optimize, and execute parallel synthetic methods and high-throughput experiments for compound library campaigns. You will develop automation-compatible processes, operate laboratory equipment, analyze experimental data, communicate findings, and maintain laboratory safety and ELN data-recording practices.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with 0–5 years of industry experience, or MS in Organic Chemistry with at least 8 years of industry experience
- Knowledge of modern organic synthetic methods
- Experience with High Throughput Chemistry and/or Parallel Synthesis
- Experience with laboratory automation, liquid handling robotics, and automated analytical and purification systems
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and execute parallel synthetic methods for compound libraries
- Develop and optimize automation-compatible synthetic methodologies
- Adapt bench-scale chemistry to high-throughput automated processes
- Operate and maintain automated synthesis equipment
- Analyze research and library compound data
- Communicate findings to project teams
- Follow laboratory safety and ELN data-recording practices
- Troubleshoot automated processes and resolve bottlenecks
