About the Role
You will design AI-first DMPK strategies and screening cascades for drug discovery programs. You will integrate DMPK, pharmacodynamic, and toxicology data into decisions, define quantitative pharmacology strategy, optimise molecule design, improve human PK prediction, advance DMPK datasets, author regulatory documentation, and work with preclinical and clinical stakeholders.
Requirements
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a relevant subject
- Seven to ten or more years of DMPK experience in biotech or pharma
- Experience developing DMPK and quantitative pharmacology packages for early clinical development
- Experience authoring and reviewing regulatory documents
- Experience partnering with preclinical and clinical teams
- In-depth knowledge of biotransformation
- In-depth knowledge of PK modelling and ADME scaling
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-first DMPK strategies
- Design screening cascades and mechanistic experiments
- Integrate DMPK, pharmacodynamic, and toxicology data for decisions
- Define quantitative pharmacology strategy with Pharmacology Leads
- Optimise datasets to address DMPK questions
- Optimise molecule design using physicochemical and biotransformation knowledge
- Maintain knowledge of technologies for human PK prediction
- Author DMPK sections of regulatory documents
