About the Role
You will develop and execute pre-formulation strategies for small molecules across drug discovery and preclinical development. You will design formulation technologies, interpret stability studies, coordinate with preclinical and CMC functions, leverage external CRO resources, and prepare technical and regulatory documentation.
Requirements
- PhD in pharmaceutical science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of professional experience in biotech or pharma
- Expertise in developing oral solid dosage forms
- Experience supporting IND packages
- Proficiency in preformulation, manufacturing processes, and advanced drug-delivery technologies
- Understanding of global regulatory guidelines, including ICH and FDA
- Written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Knowledge and practical experience in amorphous dispersions
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute pre-formulation strategies for small molecules across drug discovery and preclinical development
- Design and refine formulation technologies, including solid dispersions and co-crystals
- Develop and interpret stability studies using ICH and ASAP methodologies
- Implement in-process controls to ensure product performance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary preclinical teams
- Author technical reports, protocols, and regulatory submissions
