About the Role
You will advise on US AI regulation from applicability analysis through compliance delivery. You will track laws and standards, design compliance programs, counsel internal stakeholders, support regulator engagement, contribute to policy submissions, and coordinate with global regulatory workstreams.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active membership in a US state bar
- Technology-regulation advisory experience
- Experience developing documented compliance positions and deliverables
- Experience engaging regulators, enforcement agencies, or standards bodies
- Experience drafting compliance policies, regulatory submissions, or compliance frameworks
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to technical, policy, product, and business audiences

Responsibilities
- Lead legal work on US AI regulation
- Design and deliver US regulatory compliance programs
- Track US federal, state, and relevant international regulatory developments
- Assess regulatory applicability and business impact
- Provide practical advice on regulatory requirements
- Support engagement with regulators, enforcement agencies, and standards bodies
- Partner on rulemaking engagement, comment letters, and regulatory submissions
- Support AI-regulation litigation and enforcement matters
- Contribute to global frontier-AI regulatory work
