About the Role
Analyze asset-class data with statistical and machine-learning techniques, write quantitative research reports, identify topics based on market and SEO needs, optimize content for search ranking, publish insights across digital channels, and parse websites for potential client contact information.
Requirements
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related area.
- Hands-on data analysis experience with Python Pandas or Matlab.
- Experience with Excel.
- Knowledge of statistical tools and machine-learning techniques.
- Strong writing and communication ability.
- Ability to work independently on short- and long-term projects.
- Prior research-report writing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of SEO, HTML, CSS, WordPress, social media content management, and Beautiful Soup is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data on different asset classes using statistical and machine-learning techniques.
- Write quantitative research reports for distribution to current and prospective clients through the website and newsletter.
- Identify relevant research topics based on market conditions, news, and SEO needs.
- Use SEO techniques to improve research report rankings on Google.
- Publish research reports through social media, the blog, and newsletter.
- Use scripts to parse websites and unstructured data to retrieve potential client contact information.
