About the Role
You will lead site quality and mission assurance for concurrent flight programs. You will maintain the AS9100D and ISO 9001 Quality Management System, manage audits and corrective actions, oversee supplier quality, approve data packages, and lead the quality engineering and inspection team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 7 years of quality engineering or mission assurance experience, a Master's degree and 5 years of experience, or 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Working knowledge of AS9100D and aerospace quality audits
- Experience leading MRB activities, NCR, CAR, SCAR, 8D, and 5-Why corrective-action workflows
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 including the Space Addendum
- Experience with supplier quality management, source inspection, and PCBA manufacturing
- Ability to interpret schematics, assembly drawings, specifications, and data sheets
- 3 years leading technical quality and inspection teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Must be a U.S. Person
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the site AS9100D and ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Serve as the quality interface for auditors, registrars, and customers
- Lead Material Review Board, NCR, CAR, and SCAR workflows
- Develop Mission Assurance and Quality Assurance Plans
- Review and approve End Item Data Packages
- Manage supplier audits, source inspection, counterfeit-parts prevention, and government property control
- Lead and develop the quality engineering and inspection team
- Ensure ITAR, CUI, ESD, contamination, cleanroom, and EH&S compliance
