About the Role
You will advise U.S. government customers on how Enterprise Edition and a DevSecOps platform can address business and mission outcomes. You will lead technical evaluations, proofs of concept and value, demonstrations, workshops, and technical proposal support. You will partner with sales to shape account strategies, create Customer Success Plans, build stakeholder relationships, and share customer feedback internally. You will also maintain expertise in modern software development, operations, cloud practices, and Value Stream Assessments.
Requirements
- Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or information technology, ideally supporting U.S. public sector or federal customers.
- Hands-on experience using GitLab.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and related technologies in regulated or security-conscious environments.
- Ability to connect technical solutions to measurable business or mission outcomes and advise senior stakeholders on tradeoffs and options.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including leading customer meetings, demos, and value-focused conversations.
- Familiarity with the Solutions Architect handbook and related resources.
Responsibilities
- Engage public sector customers onsite and remotely during the pre-sales process through tailored demos, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops.
- Collaborate with sales to shape and execute account strategies that drive adoption in government environments.
- Own technical evaluations, including proof-of-concept and proof-of-value design and delivery, tender and audit support, and technical proposal input.
- Create Customer Success Plans that document technical success criteria and pre-sales handoff details.
- Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
- Channel customer feedback and insights to Product, Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams.
- Maintain expertise in GitLab, modern software development, operations, cloud practices, and reusable customer and partner assets.
- Run Value Stream Assessments to identify software-delivery improvement opportunities.
