About the Role

You will assist in preparing, formatting, and organizing proposal documents to meet solicitation requirements. You will create compliance matrices and checklists, maintain version control and reusable proposal content, gather technical inputs and past performance, perform initial compliance checks, proofread submissions, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Military experience in contracting, logistics, operations, or administration preferred
  • Familiarity with DOD procurement processes and acquisition procedures
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Detail oriented with focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
  • Willingness to learn proposal development tools and methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and format proposal documents to meet solicitation requirements
  • Create and maintain compliance matrices and checklists
  • Gather and organize technical inputs and past performance information
  • Maintain proposal documentation and ensure version control
  • Manage and update a repository of reusable proposal content and templates
  • Collaborate with technical experts and business development to collect inputs
  • Coordinate and communicate proposal progress with internal stakeholders
  • Conduct initial compliance checks against solicitation requirements
  • Proofread proposals for grammar, consistency, and clarity
  • Provide feedback to improve proposal workflows and document management
