About the Role
You will develop budgets, schedules, estimates, and proposal content for lunar mission concepts and technology programs. You will coordinate with engineering disciplines, customers, partners, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to manage risks, resources, deliverables, and customer-facing work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience, or an advanced degree in lieu of equivalent experience
- Project or program management, project finance, and program-planning experience
- Experience preparing proposal content and customer presentations
- Experience authoring and decomposing financial and contractual volumes
- Knowledge of launch, space, and lunar environments
- Organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- U.S. Person status and eligibility for required export authorizations
Responsibilities
- Develop program budgets and schedules for lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft
- Support proposal content creation
- Contribute to schedules, resourcing, risk, and budget estimates
- Communicate with engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors
- Build bottom-up estimates, bills of materials, cash-flow models, and labor estimates
- Participate in customer, supply-chain, and partner meetings
- Ensure schedules and budgets meet mission, business, and technology-roadmap needs
- Manage early technology-development projects and architecture studies
