About the Role
You will build institutional payment products from concept through live volume. You will select banking and payment partners, design fund flows and client journeys, lead integrations, write detailed specifications, and translate regulatory requirements into product decisions. You will work directly with institutional clients to prioritize payment capabilities across onboarding, trading, custody, and post-trade.
Requirements
- Experience taking a licensed payments product live
- Experience shipping inbound collections and outbound settlement
- Hands-on experience integrating payment infrastructure providers or banking partners
- Knowledge of fund flows, payment rails, corridor constraints, safeguarding, and licensing constraints
- Experience working in a regulated environment with Compliance and external counsel
- Strong written communication and specification writing
- Stablecoin or digital asset settlement experience
- API design
- Data modeling
- Integration architecture
- Experience at a licensed payments, digital asset, or financial infrastructure company at Series A to C scale
Responsibilities
- Take virtual named accounts and embedded payment accounts from concept to live institutional volume
- Select banking and payment partners and determine integration sequence
- Run integrations end to end, including scoping, specification, engineering coordination, testing, and go-live
- Design fund flows, including safeguarding, reconciliation, failure states, and rail outages
- Design client journeys for funding, collections, and payouts
- Own payment product decisions across onboarding, trading, custody, and post-trade
- Write specifications with acceptance criteria and edge cases
- Sequence delivery across multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Set and validate success measures for releases
- Build to MiCA CASP, Payment Institution, FINMA, safeguarding, travel rule, and jurisdictional requirements
- Translate regulatory requirements into early product requirements
- Gather institutional client feedback and convert it into prioritized decisions
