About the Role
You will lead development of APIs, SDKs, and MCP strategy for developers. You will define API contracts and developer experiences, build sample applications and integrations, improve documentation, analyze support patterns, establish developer metrics, and translate customer and partner needs into reliable platform products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Experience with platform, developer experience, API, SDK, or partnership-driven products
- Technical ability to work with API contracts, payloads, logs, telemetry, and implementation tradeoffs
- Experience building or leading APIs and SDKs for external developers
- Knowledge of developer interfaces, resource design, and machine-readable errors
- Experience with customer and partner developers
- Experience integrating third-party enterprise applications
- Documentation and specification writing skills
- Metrics for adoption, usability, and business impact
Responsibilities
- Own the design and evolution of public APIs and SDKs
- Define API versioning, deprecation, and backward-compatibility commitments
- Specify developer experience including authentication, onboarding, error handling, rate limiting, and webhooks
- Build sample applications and run integrations
- Improve developer documentation
- Analyze support tickets and forum patterns
- Set metrics for developer adoption and integration success
- Lock API contracts and requirements before engineering work begins
