About the Role
You will lead strategy, roadmaps, development, releases, and support for computing products. You will translate customer and program needs into product decisions, oversee technical requirements and design solutions, analyze markets and pricing, gather customer feedback, and lead technical staff.
Requirements
- 7+ years of embedded computing product development experience
- Experience with ARM, PowerPC, and FPGA processors
- 3+ years of product development or product management experience
- 2+ years of space and defense industry experience
- Experience developing space and defense computing products
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, or science
- Knowledge of space and defense market trends and regulatory requirements
- Product management and hardware and software development methodology proficiency
- Market and competitive analysis experience
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- U.S. Person status for export-control compliance
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategy for the computing product portfolio
- Create and prioritize product roadmaps
- Oversee product development and improvement projects
- Provide technical solutions for proposals and business development
- Define computing requirements, architecture, and design solutions
- Implement Design for Manufacturing, Test, and Cost methodologies
- Analyze market trends, competition, pricing, and demand
- Gather and incorporate customer feedback
- Assess and implement product configuration changes
- Communicate product strategy and progress to stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, recruit, onboard, and develop technical staff
