About the Role

You will own the perpetual futures product from roadmap through production. You will define intuitive experiences for margin, liquidations, and funding rates; write prioritized specifications; coordinate engineering and design delivery; incorporate trader feedback; monitor product performance; and iterate based on trader behavior.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience shipping trading user experience improvements end to end, ideally for a perpetual futures or derivatives product
• Deep familiarity with crypto trading mechanics, including funding rates, margin systems, and liquidation engines
• Ability to work directly with engineers, write specifications, run sprints, and keep teams unblocked
• Ability to identify problems in trader workflows and propose fixes
• Experience making complex financial products approachable
• Ability to make tradeoffs across user experience, engineering constraints, business goals, and compliance requirements
• Personal experience as an active derivatives trader is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the perpetual futures product roadmap and maintain prioritized specifications with engineering
• Define user experiences for margin systems, liquidations, and funding rates
• Coordinate engineering and design resources to deliver perpetual futures improvements from specification to production
• Audit trader complaints and support feedback weekly and incorporate findings into prioritization
• Write detailed specifications covering features, improvements, edge cases, error states, and trader workflows
• Set realistic delivery timelines with engineering and break ambiguous problems into shippable milestones
• Monitor product performance after release and iterate based on trader behavior
