About the Role
You will own the trading product strategy and v1 specifications for an on-chain order-book exchange. You will translate market-maker and institutional-investor requirements into product decisions, define listing and risk parameters, collaborate on matching, risk-engine, and API design, monitor trading metrics, analyse competing venues, and write RFCs and specifications.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years developing and launching an order-book trading platform
- Have managed roadmaps with market makers and institutional investors as primary stakeholders
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of trading terminology, perpetual markets, and liquidation engines
- Trade perpetual contracts continuously at meaningful volume
- Have defined scope and made decisions in a pre-PMF environment
- Have business-level English proficiency
- Be willing and curious to rapidly learn unfamiliar domains
Responsibilities
- Own the trading product strategy and v1 specifications for order types, margin, API, listings, and risk parameters
- Gather requirements from market makers and large traders and translate them into specifications
- Drive the listing pipeline, including market selection and initial leverage, tick-size, and funding-limit parameters
- Collaborate with engineering on matching-engine, risk-engine, and API design decisions
- Define and monitor order-book depth, slippage, fill-rate, and API-latency metrics
- Analyse competing trading venues and develop differentiation strategies
- Write RFCs and product specifications
