About the Role

You will serve as the primary buyer across software, IT, marketing, events, travel, onboarding, and professional services. You will manage the full vendor lifecycle, negotiate commercial terms, track contracts and renewals, guide stakeholders through purchasing decisions, reduce unnecessary spend, and coordinate security, privacy, and contract risk reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or commercial negotiations
  • Experience in-house at a high-growth technology or software company
  • Track record independently owning vendor negotiations, contract management, and renewal tracking
  • Experience managing multiple functions and spend categories including SaaS, marketing, events, travel, and professional services
  • Experience competitively evaluating vendors and negotiating favorable pricing and terms
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and maintain disciplined purchasing
  • Experience building procurement processes from the ground up
  • Experience selecting spend-management or contract lifecycle management tooling
  • Experience coordinating SOC 2 and data privacy reviews and reviewing indemnification, liability caps, and insurance terms
  • Excellent executive-level written communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage sourcing and purchasing across multiple categories
  • Own vendor relationships, negotiations, contracts, and renewals
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, ramp terms, and renewal protections
  • Guide stakeholders through sourcing decisions and purchasing processes
  • Consolidate redundant tools and reclaim unused licenses
  • Build intake, purchase order, contract tracking, renewal tracking, and spend visibility processes
  • Coordinate vendor security, data privacy, and contract risk reviews
