About the Role
You will source goods and services for lunar systems, negotiate supplier terms, perform source selection, and manage supplier relationships. You will interpret engineering data, identify alternate parts, coordinate with internal customers on supply-chain risks, and conduct supplier qualification and performance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or supply-chain discipline with 5+ years of supply-chain experience, or an associate degree with 7+ years of supply-chain experience
- Negotiation experience involving terms and conditions, best-value competition analysis, or supplier management
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with procurement management and ERP systems
- U.S. Person status and eligibility to obtain required export authorizations
Responsibilities
- Source goods and services, including avionics, mechanical and electronic components, engineering services, and manufacturing equipment
- Negotiate supplier terms, pricing, and schedules
- Perform source selection using best-value criteria
- Prioritize and execute program requirements
- Interpret specifications, drawings, and statements of work for project teams and suppliers
- Identify sourcing recommendations and alternate parts with Engineering Design
- Identify supply-chain performance risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Conduct supplier qualification, performance oversight, and relationship development
