About the Role
You will solicit residential mortgages, produce compliant jumbo loans, and build relationships with affluent borrowers and referral sources. You will assess applications, quote rates and points, analyze financial and credit data, recommend loan programs, explain mortgage policies and procedures, and maintain proactive customer communication.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Private Mortgage Banking Sales experience or equivalent
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Mortgage industry experience
- Knowledge of sales prospecting and referral generation
- Customer service experience
- Experience working with high net-worth clients
- SAFE registration
- Completion of formal position-specific training
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Solicit residential mortgages from various sources
- Produce compliant jumbo loans
- Build relationships with affluent borrowers and referral sources
- Maintain visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the assigned market
- Present recommendations for producing loans
- Understand real estate appraisals, title reports, and real estate transactions
- Receive customer applications and quote rates and points
- Complete registration lock-in follow-up activities
- Analyze and offer mortgage loan products
- Review financial and credit data
- Match customer needs with loan programs and risk levels
- Explain mortgage programs, rates, policies, and underwriting requirements
- Maintain timely customer communication
- Complete position-specific training
