About the Role
You will partner with Go To Market teams during late stage sales to increase win rates and complete operational and technical discovery and solutioning. You will serve as the client's trusted advisor from late stage sale through onboarding to go-live, ensuring smooth handoffs and proper expectation setting across all stakeholders. You will project manage the cross-functional conversion process from the prior administrator to Carta, create internal governance structures, and partner with R&D and Delivery teams on non-standard items. You will educate clients on the Carta platform, manage new product feature requests, and build deep relationships with external decision makers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Private Capital Accounting and Operational experience
- Experience with AI tools and workflows; familiarity with Claude or similar LLMs is a plus
- Prior experience working in Private Capital financial services strongly preferred
- Proven ability to build and manage new customer account relationships
- Proven ability to assess, establish and optimize operational and accounting processes and best practices
- Strong customer relationship skills and demonstrated ability to influence client change and work through difficult conversations
- Excellent communication, listening, facilitation, and negotiating skills
- Strong data analysis, organization, and project management skills
- Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams and driving projects to completion
Responsibilities
- Increase win rates through partnership with Go To Market teams during late stage sales
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Carta and industry best practices to complete operational and technical discovery and solutioning
- Serve as the client's trusted advisor and advocate from late stage sale through onboarding to go-live
- Ensure smooth transitions between all team handoffs
- Partner with R&D and Delivery teams to develop strategies for non-standard items
- Ensure proper expectation setting and alignment across internal and external stakeholders
- Project manage the cross-functional conversion process from prior administrator to Carta
- Create internal governance structures for status and escalation channels
- Help customers maximize value from the Carta platform ensuring strong user engagement
- Educate the client on the Carta way through product demos and recommendations
- Manage net new product feature requests
- Build deep relationships with external decision makers to enable them to be Carta advocates
