About the Role
You will set technical strategy for national security advanced programs and lead complex R&D from concept through deployed capability. You will architect integrated systems, productize technologies, mentor engineering teams, and support customer, proposal, and acquisition work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Active U.S. Top Secret / SCI security clearance
- National security space systems design, development, and deployment experience
- Complex algorithm development experience and application of compute and AI/ML techniques
- Advanced R&D program leadership experience
- Experience in space control, SIGINT, cyber, autonomy, networks, or non-kinetics
- Government R&D contracting and technical milestone delivery experience
- Government proposal development and cost-estimation experience
Responsibilities
- Own technology strategy for the national security Advanced Programs portfolio
- Lead complex R&D programs and manage the IRAD pipeline
- Architect end-to-end systems across hardware, software, and mission software
- Guide technologies into productized solutions for manufacturing and deployment
- Build, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support customer requirements, solution shaping, and government-contract capture
- Support due diligence and post-acquisition integration
