About the Role
You will design, implement, and maintain backend services that power a feature-rich crypto trading experience. You will write well-tested, readable, and maintainable code, own end-to-end delivery of major features, and operate cloud infrastructure. You will design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries, improve system scalability and reliability, and collaborate on trading system architecture and integrations. You will take full ownership of meaningful projects and drive them from design through production.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years software engineering experience
- Adhere to strong coding practices focused on readability, maintainability, and testing
- Working knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps best practices, preferably AWS
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience building backend services and APIs, with TypeScript preferred
- High-agency self-starter with ownership mentality
- Bonus: crypto-native experience
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and APIs
