The company focuses on enterprise customers such as stablecoin issuers, fintechs, neobanks, payment companies, banks, and other businesses building stablecoin-based payment products. Its services are designed for compliant, programmable, and interoperable movement of stablecoins, with custody and certain financial services provided by third-party providers.

About the Role
You will design, build, and operate backend services supporting mint and burn flows, reserve accounting, reconciliation, settlement, and money movement. You will integrate external financial and blockchain systems, create secure APIs and audit trails, and own monitoring, incident response, and reliability improvements.
Requirements
- 5–12 years of production backend engineering experience
- Experience designing, shipping, and operating production services
- Experience with high-value transactional systems such as payments, banking, fintech, trading, ledgering, or stablecoin infrastructure
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and GCP
- Knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals, including consistency, eventing, idempotency, retries, reconciliation, ordering, partial failure, and observability
- Experience integrating unreliable external systems and partner APIs
- Experience designing secure APIs, handling secrets and access control, instrumenting services, and writing runbooks
- Ability to translate ambiguous business and compliance requirements into technical systems
- Ability to work in person in New York City five days a week
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services for mint and burn flows, reserve accounting, reconciliation, and settlement pipelines
- Integrate banks, custody providers, stablecoin issuers, blockchains, and partner APIs
- Build durable reconciliation processes and audit trails
- Design secure APIs and own monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and incident response
- Contribute to payments APIs and internal administrative surfaces
- Improve core product robustness proactively
