About the Role
You will lead the architecture and implementation of core money infrastructure across pricing, billing, payments, subscriptions, and monetization. You will build reliable order-to-cash systems, localized payment experiences, and monitoring for financial flows. You will partner with finance, accounting, data teams, and external payments providers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong backend expertise
- Experience with subscription billing, usage-based billing, payment processing, taxation or compliance systems, or tokenization systems
- Strong system design skills for high-reliability and high-correctness domains
- Debugging and problem-solving skills for billing edge cases and failure modes
- Experience building customer-facing billing or payments interfaces
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of money infrastructure
- Own and scale global order-to-cash systems
- Build flexible abstractions and APIs for pricing and monetization experimentation
- Build localized payment experiences across geographies
- Create payment rails for apps, agents, subscriptions, and monetization
- Partner with finance, accounting, and data teams on financial data specifications
- Collaborate with billing platforms and payment processors
- Create monitoring, observability, and feedback systems for financial flows
