About the Role
You will lead architecture and roadmap decisions for a database product while remaining hands-on. You will work with early customers, build database provisioning and fleet-management systems, improve schema evolution and query performance, strengthen reliability and observability, and contribute across backend and client code.

- Postgres or MySQL
- 10+ years of production software engineering experience
- Technical leadership

Responsibilities
- Take a new product from alpha to general availability
- Work with early customers and iterate on feedback
- Improve query execution, indexing, and client data loading
- Make schema changes, concurrent writes, permissions, and recovery reliable
- Build database provisioning and fleet operations
- Strengthen observability and evolve the architecture
