About the Role
You will own backend product areas from design through production. You will build APIs, services, and data models; develop evaluation and rollout criteria; instrument and operate systems; and improve agent trust, guardrails, reliability, and developer experience.
Requirements
- Experience operating at senior or staff scope and owning customer-facing backend product areas
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript/Node.js, Go, or a comparable backend stack
- Ability to design APIs, services, and data models
- Experience building distributed or asynchronous systems with databases, queues, workflows, or event-driven patterns
- Strong product judgment and technical tradeoff analysis
- Experience with testing, observability, reliability, incident response, and safe rollouts
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools
Responsibilities
- Build customer-facing backend systems end to end
- Design APIs, services, and data models
- Own backend areas in agent self-improvement, trust, or guardrails
- Define evaluation and rollout criteria
