About the Role
You will lead major parts of the scanner platform, including system architecture and maintainable codebase design. You will own distributed control, state management, fault handling, reliability, engineering standards, observability, cross-functional interfaces, and complex refactors involving RPC boundaries, modularization, and concurrency.

Responsibilities
- Lead scanner-platform system architecture and codebase design
- Own distributed control, state management, fault handling, and reliability foundations
- Drive testability, code quality, review standards, performance regression prevention, and release processes
- Build logs, metrics, traces, and replayable diagnostics with privacy constraints
- Define interfaces, data contracts, timing, synchronization, and failure modes with hardware and reconstruction or ML partners
- Lead refactors of messaging, RPC, modularization, and concurrency models
