About the Role
You will act as a solutions-architecture subject-matter expert for file exchange, supporting squads end to end. You will create architectural documentation, evaluate technologies and suppliers, lead technical validation processes, modernize legacy platforms, design AWS cloud solutions, and establish secure, resilient integration patterns.
Requirements
- Experience in solutions and platform architecture
- Experience with SFTP protocols, connectivity, events, and distributed architectures
- Knowledge of observability, resilience, and integration patterns
- Experience modernizing legacy platforms
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate with stakeholders
- AWS certification is desirable
Responsibilities
- Support squads as a subject-matter expert in file-exchange solutions architecture
- Create and maintain ADRs, architectural diagrams, and technical documentation
- Evaluate suppliers, products, and emerging solutions
- Define architecture and engineering metrics and indicators
- Design corporate file-transfer and B2B integration architectures
- Lead modernization initiatives for legacy platforms and components
- Design AWS cloud solutions using AWS Well-Architected principles
- Evolve integration journeys to reduce coupling and increase flexibility
- Define architectural patterns for data protection, authentication, authorization, and encryption
- Lead proofs of concept, RFIs, RFPs, and technical approval processes
