About the Role
You will own technical and programmatic execution for solid rocket motor programs from proposal through qualification and production. You will manage cost, schedule, and technical performance; resolve complex engineering issues; represent assigned programs with customers; identify portfolio risks; and mentor junior project engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of combined engineering and project experience, or 14 years of combined experience
- Experience with solid rocket motor or energetics design, development, and manufacturing
- Experience leading defense programs through qualification and production
- Ability to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical and programmatic execution for solid rocket motor programs
- Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance from proposal through production
- Serve as the primary customer and stakeholder interface
- Resolve complex engineering and program execution challenges
- Contribute to portfolio-level technical visibility and risk identification
- Mentor junior Project Engineers
