About the Role
You will own product strategy, roadmaps, PRDs, specifications, market segmentation, customer discovery, and commercialization for Retail and 3PL applications. You will define targets, guide engineering decisions, lead customer deployments through acceptance and expansion, and turn deployment learning into repeatable products.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, or management consulting
- Ownership of an enterprise product line in robotics, industrial automation, physical products, or a similarly complex domain
- Outbound product management experience in segmentation, discovery, prioritization, and growth roadmaps
- Go-to-market partnership experience across account strategy, qualification, positioning, and commercial outcomes
- Experience owning enterprise deployments through KPI proof and contracted expansion
- Experience setting quantitative targets and running systems tests
- Experience in warehouse, parcel, or retail-distribution operations
- Experience with enterprise contracts, acceptance criteria, FAT, SAT, UAT, and integrator or partner delivery models
- Engineering partnership experience across end effectors, motion, perception, and material-handling integration
- Experience creating specifications, reference solutions, value propositions, and ROI analyses
- Clear written communication through PRDs, strategy documents, status reports, and decision records
- Ability to work regularly from Redwood City headquarters and travel approximately 25%
Responsibilities
- Own application and developer-interface product strategy, roadmaps, PRDs, and specifications
- Segment markets and prioritize product and go-to-market investment
- Lead customer, prospect, operator, executive, integrator, and partner discovery
- Convert market evidence into vertical-growth roadmaps
- Set and validate product, reliability, adoption, and business-value targets
- Partner with go-to-market teams on account strategy, positioning, qualification, and market-entry plays
- Build reference solutions, concepts of operations, value propositions, and business cases
- Inform pricing and packaging with market and segment evidence
- Drive application-level engineering decisions and systems testing
- Lead deployments through shipment, go-live, KPI proof, acceptance, and expansion
- Own acceptance criteria, validation evidence, disputed claims, and signed acceptance records
- Turn bespoke integrator delivery into repeatable developer-interface models
