Skills
About the Role
You will own design end-to-end for Core Platform and Fincrime, working across onboarding, treasury, reconciliation, billing, core processing, and financial crime areas like compliance case management, sanctions and transaction monitoring, and internal ops tooling. You'll partner closely with product managers and engineers to define problems, explore solutions, and ship improvements that move real operational metrics. You'll work AI-first, using LLMs like Claude to clarify intent, draft PRDs, and prototype flows with Claude Code before bringing validated work into Figma for production readiness. You'll design for expert users in a complex, regulated domain, deciding what to surface, automate, or hide while keeping the default experience simple. You'll also run crits and design reviews, mentor other designers, and partner with the Lead Designer for the Design System on its strategic direction.

- A track record of operating as a senior IC across multiple product areas and influencing peers, PMs, and engineering leaders
- Experience in fintech, payments, crypto/stablecoins, or another regulated domain is a strong plus but not required
