About the Role
You will drive platform initiatives that improve network reliability, quality, and delivery velocity. You will shape network architecture and execution plans, align teams working on infrastructure and developer tooling, improve operational excellence, support on-call operations, and travel across APAC.
Requirements
- 10+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience in a large ISP or cloud provider environment
- Experience in network operations
- Knowledge of InfiniBand or RoCE networking
- Knowledge of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, VXLAN, and EVPN
- Scripting or automation expertise with Python or another scripting or compiled language
- Knowledge of VPN, SSL, network monitoring, and telemetry
- Knowledge of YANG, OpenConfig, and NETCONF
- Ability to travel across APAC up to 50%
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Scale engineering work for core platform systems
- Define and drive multi-quarter platform initiatives
- Partner with product and engineering leaders on platform evolution
- Turn ambiguous high-impact problems into execution plans
- Drive alignment across teams working on infrastructure and developer tooling
- Raise engineering quality, operational excellence, and execution
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Travel across APAC up to 50% of the time
