About the Role

You will set the technical direction for iOS, build core wallet and transaction functionality, and integrate onchain and offchain data. You will establish engineering standards, remain hands-on with critical code, deliver refined accessible UI, and coach engineers while supporting hiring and development.

Requirements

• 8+ years building production iOS applications
• Experience at Principal, Lead, or equivalent level
• Swift and UIKit expertise
• Understanding of iOS architecture, concurrency, networking, navigation, application lifecycle, and native frameworks
• Production experience integrating blockchain functionality into an iOS application
• Experience with wallets, private keys, transaction signing, RPCs, gas, and onchain transaction lifecycles
• Experience setting architectural direction for a complex consumer application
• Experience leading engineers through ambiguous, high-impact work
• Judgement regarding performance, testing, observability, release safety, incident response, and reliability
• Ability to deliver polished consumer experiences and collaborate across disciplines
• Communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the iOS technical architecture
• Design and ship wallet, key management, transaction signing, gas estimation, RPC, and account-abstraction functionality
• Integrate onchain and offchain data across product experiences
• Set standards for architecture, Swift and UIKit quality, testing, observability, performance, release safety, and incident response
• Remain hands-on with foundational architecture, security-sensitive functionality, integrations, and production issues
• Partner with design on UI, interactions, accessibility, and the mobile design system
• Coach and mentor iOS engineers and contribute to hiring and team development
