About the Role
You will define and evolve embedded software architecture for an autonomy platform. You will prototype and review critical components, optimize performance and reliability, and establish development standards. You will mentor senior engineers, guide technical direction across teams, and represent software and hardware architecture in partner discussions.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software and systems engineering experience
- Embedded systems expertise in robotics, automotive, or similar domains
- Hands-on C/C++ development experience
- Familiarity with Python or Rust
- Large-scale production-system architecture, design, and code experience
- System performance analysis, optimization, and debugging expertise
- Experience leading through technical influence
- Ability to represent the company with OEMs, chip vendors, and partners
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve embedded software architecture
- Develop prototypes and reference implementations
- Analyze and optimize embedded-stack performance, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners
- Drive modern development practices, tools, and standards
