About the Role

You will own the multi-year Driver Out program from the first driver-out demonstration through public-road product integration and initial scaling. You will build and lead a TPM organisation, define milestones, manage critical dependencies and risks, coordinate safety evidence, and report readiness and major decisions to executives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years delivering complex multi-year technical programs
  • Director-level program leadership and team-building experience
  • Autonomous vehicle or safety-critical robotics experience
  • Knowledge of safety cases, behaviour validation, ISO 26262, SOTIF, and safety management systems
  • Technical knowledge of autonomy, machine learning, vehicle hardware, vehicle software, and systems
  • Senior cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the Driver Out program plan and milestones
  • Build, coach, and grow the TPM team
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across program workstreams
  • Coordinate the safety case, behaviour validation, functional safety, SOTIF, cybersecurity, and safety management system
  • Align engineering, science, safety, product, operations, OEMs, and Uber
  • Establish governance, launch-readiness reviews, KPIs, dashboards, escalations, and risk-budget management
  • Report progress, risk, and readiness to the executive team
