About the Role
You will lead advanced manufacturing test strategy for complex circuit card assemblies. You will design test approaches across inspection boundary scan and functional test identify and resolve complex defects define evaluation criteria influence suppliers and manufacturing partners and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in manufacturing test for advanced high-complexity circuit card assemblies
- Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals circuit card assembly manufacturing processes and defect mechanisms
- Expertise in JTAG 1149.x boundary scan iJTAG and embedded or processor-controlled functional test
- Experience architecting programming and debugging bed-of-nails MDA or ICT and board-level test systems
- Ability to define test methods evaluation frameworks and technical criteria independently
- Ability to influence engineering disciplines suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Legal right to work in the UK

Responsibilities
- Define advanced manufacturing test strategies for complex circuit card assemblies
- Design and direct optical inspection X-ray inspection in-circuit test boundary scan and functional test strategies
- Improve defect coverage diagnostic resolution and production quality
- Architect program and debug board-level test systems
- Define test methods evaluation frameworks and technical criteria
- Translate complex issues into decisions for engineering suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Set technical direction and mentor engineers
