You will design test strategies and fixtures, integrate test equipment and automation software, support production ramps, troubleshoot failures, improve test processes, and communicate results and risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test development, hardware validation, test automation, or production engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python for test automation, hardware control, data processing, and diagnostic development.
  • Hands-on experience testing electronic assemblies, computer systems, embedded hardware, or complex electromechanical products.
  • Experience integrating automated test software with laboratory or manufacturing test equipment.
  • Understanding of digital electronics, power electronics, communication interfaces, and hardware bring-up.
  • Experience with contract manufacturers and outsourced manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test systems for advanced computing hardware.
  • Design manufacturing test strategies for board-level testing, system integration, diagnostics, and final acceptance.
  • Develop test procedures, specifications, fixtures, and documentation for NPI and production ramp.
  • Define test coverage requirements, acceptance criteria, and pass/fail limits.
  • Evaluate and implement test methodologies, instrumentation, and automation frameworks.
  • Integrate test equipment, programmable power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, multimeters, communication interfaces, and hardware management controllers.
  • Support NPI builds, pilot production, manufacturing qualification, and high-volume production ramp.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing test failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive improvements to test cycle time, station utilization, process repeatability, and manufacturing cost.
  • Verify that test solutions are repeatable, maintainable, and suitable for production-site deployment.
  • Support test station deployment, equipment qualification, operator training, and process documentation.
  • Communicate test results, production risks, and improvement opportunities.
