About the Role

You will design and operate political engagement, candidate education, field organizing, and political giving programs. You will advise leadership on political strategy and risk, develop political intelligence, work with legal counsel on compliance, coordinate with government relations and communications, report program activity, and build a small team.

Requirements

  • Experience in campaigns, party committees, political organizations, or corporate or association political programs
  • Experience running a program or budget and being accountable for results
  • Knowledge of PACs, individual giving, 501(c)(4) and trade association engagement, grassroots and grasstops programs, and candidate education
  • Knowledge of campaign finance, lobbying, gifts, and ethics rules
  • Experience advising senior executives on political matters
  • 12+ years of political-program experience
  • Senior-level national politics experience
  • Experience building or running grassroots or grasstops organizing programs
  • Federal and state political experience

Responsibilities

  • Build and run the presidential engagement program for the 2028 cycle
  • Build candidate outreach and education programs for federal, state, and local races
  • Build grassroots and grasstops field programs
  • Run political giving and voluntary employee participation programs
  • Develop candidate and committee support recommendations for leadership and the PAC board
  • Build political intelligence on races, committees, states, and presidential fields
  • Design employee political education and events
  • Build senior relationships across both political parties
  • Advise leadership on political risk and opportunity
  • Ensure programs comply with campaign finance, lobbying, gifts, and ethics rules
  • Coordinate with government relations, policy, and communications teams
  • Report program activity internally and publicly
  • Hire and manage a small team
