About the Role
You will build campaigns to pass state AI laws and support their implementation. You will work with lawmakers, staffers, coalition partners, lobbyists, reporters, and government agencies. You may draft statements, testimony, rebuttals, op-eds, briefs, and coalition letters, and travel for high-stakes meetings and events.

Responsibilities
- Build campaigns to pass state AI laws
- Support policy development and implementation of enacted laws
- Draft statements, testimony, rebuttals, op-eds, briefs, and coalition letters
- Brief legislators and their staff on proposed bills
- Build and coordinate coalitions
- Work with lobbyists to map legislative processes and identify decision-makers
- Engage with reporters and external partners
- Travel to state capitols, conferences, and coalition events
