About the Role
You will own the configuration, testing, support, and continuous improvement of several Workday modules. You will translate business requirements into scalable solutions, resolve issues, support integrations and releases, develop reports and dashboards, lead smaller initiatives, maintain documentation, and guide junior analysts and administrators.
Requirements
- Strong Workday configuration and administration experience across at least two modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Time and Absence, Talent Management, or Recruiting
- Proven experience delivering Workday enhancements, configuration changes, and smaller implementations
- Good understanding of Workday business processes, calculated fields, and security concepts
- Hands-on experience with Workday EIBs and Report Writer
- Experience working within structured release cycles and testing frameworks
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
- Exposure to Workday integrations is desirable
- Workday certification in relevant modules is desirable
Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and optimize assigned Workday modules
- Build and maintain business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, and system configurations
- Deliver system changes through structured release management and testing
- Support tenant and release management, validation, and defect resolution
- Maintain data accuracy, system performance, governance, and security standards
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned Workday modules
- Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions
- Identify automation and process improvement opportunities
- Maintain controlled system and configuration documentation
- Support the development, testing, and deployment of Workday integrations
- Coordinate system integration and data flow with IT and third-party vendors
- Develop and maintain standard and custom Workday reports and dashboards
- Support data governance, reporting, and data extraction requirements
- Lead smaller Workday projects and workstreams
- Guide junior analysts and administrators
- Develop training materials and user guidance
