About the Role
You will manage compliance processes across onboarding and the employee lifecycle. You will oversee background checks, compliance calendars, audits, government reporting, controls, and policies. You will work with legal, systems, payroll, internal audit, and compliance partners to create clear, scalable, automated processes.
Requirements
- Experience with HR compliance and governance across multiple countries, including the United States
- Experience representing People Operations in internal and external audits
- Experience preparing and filing government reports
- Clear communication with partners, auditors, and employees
- 6+ years of HR or People Operations experience
- Experience building and leading an HR compliance program
- Experience scaling global background checks
- Experience managing Workday processes and data
- Experience building custom Workday reports
Responsibilities
- Refine employee-lifecycle and onboarding compliance processes
- Manage the global background-check program and vendor partnership
- Prepare for compliance obligations from new locations, headcount thresholds, and regulations
- Manage a global HR compliance calendar
- Streamline and automate compliance work
- Support internal and external audits
- Document controls, gather evidence, and explain processes to auditors
- Collaborate on cross-functional controls
- Prepare and file required government reports
- Review and develop relevant policies
