About the Role

Generate, engage, and qualify private equity partnership opportunities through direct outreach and consultative conversations. Research firms, educate decision-makers, collaborate across functions, develop partner relationships, and maintain accurate Salesforce data.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills and professional phone and video presence.
  • Experience in partnerships, channel sales, or sales development.
  • Comfort with sales and prospecting in virtual and in-person settings.
  • Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency.
  • Interest in understanding business challenges across different verticals.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with a high sense of urgency.
  • Experience partnering with or selling to financial institutions.
  • Background in financial services, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
  • Prior CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to understand financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new partner opportunities with private equity firms.
  • Engage and qualify partner prospects through emails, calls, events, and social channels.
  • Research private equity firms, fund structures, investment theses, deal histories, and stakeholders.
  • Educate financial institution decision-makers about Ramp’s partnership program.
  • Collaborate with Channel Partner Managers, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Develop new partner relationship strategies.
  • Maintain accurate client relationship data in Salesforce.
