About the Role

Conduct legal and regulatory research on payments, Fintech, and Web3 developments; support licensing maintenance and regulatory filings; assist with contracts and document management; prepare dispute and case files; coordinate with external law firms; and support corporate governance and legal operations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Law, such as LL.B., JD, or equivalent legal studies.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Legal Intern.
  • Basic knowledge of contract structures and legal research tools.
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong MSO regulations or general payment compliance is advantageous.
  • High accuracy, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal and regulatory research on payments, Fintech, and emerging Web3 developments.
  • Assist with licensing maintenance and regulatory filings for Hong Kong and overseas licenses.
  • Prepare materials and initial administrative responses for regulatory inquiries.
  • Review and draft standard agreements, including NDAs, vendor contracts, and service templates.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle and repository, including approvals, e-signatures, filing, and renewals.
  • Proofread and cross-reference contract terms.
  • Prepare case files for legal disputes, customer complaints, and internal reviews.
  • Coordinate with external law firms, engagement letters, legal fee billing, and external advice.
  • Assist with corporate secretarial matters, board resolutions, registry documents, and company files.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Legal and Compliance team.
