About the Role
You will own the end-to-end OTC sales and trade-execution process across APAC. You will identify and onboard high-volume customers, quote and execute block trades, source counter-trades, manage desk P/L and risk, develop trading strategies, analyse digital-asset markets, maintain records and reports, and help improve trading and risk systems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of trading experience at a brokerage or sell-side OTC trading desk in crypto, FX, equities, or derivatives in Indonesia or other APAC regions
- Proven record of onboarding and growing institutional client accounts and exceeding sales targets
- Compliance with regulatory standards and ethical trading practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in trade execution and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in written and verbal English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong understanding of OTC trading, market structure, fiat infrastructure, and execution strategies
- Familiarity with trading platforms and APIs
- Strong client network in Indonesia and the broader APAC region
Responsibilities
- Qualify and onboard OTC customers with large-volume liquidity needs
- Create outreach plans and identify prospective clients
- Negotiate multi-product deals and support client setup
- Quote and execute large OTC trades and source counter-trades
- Ensure anticipated trades are pre-funded or supported by adequate credit facilities
- Maintain relationships with traders and institutional customers
- Manage OTC trade disputes and OTC working capital
- Ensure timely settlement through established, technology-enabled processes
- Execute trades according to approved trading strategies
- Manage APAC OTC desk profit and loss against targets and risk limits
- Contribute to FX and crypto trading strategies focused on risk management and profitability
- Develop and implement trading strategies for the APAC market
- Analyse digital-asset markets for trends, opportunities, and risks
- Monitor market news and regulatory changes affecting digital-asset prices
- Collaborate with Treasury on trading insights
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal risk-management policies
- Maintain accurate trade, P/L, risk, and performance records
- Generate regular stakeholder reports on trading activity, performance, and market insights
- Create high-level specifications for trading and risk-system improvements
- Contribute to automated solutions and improvements to risk frameworks and models
