About the Role
You will support structured product operations by checking trades, monitoring lifecycle events, managing settlements, resolving failed trades, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. You will perform reconciliations, investigate exceptions, support UAT and projects, improve workflows and SOPs, assist with team leadership, collaborate with stakeholders, and conduct root cause analysis of incidents.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in fixed income, structured products, and related operations support
- At least 1 year of people management experience
- Strong knowledge of structured products with equity, fixed income, interest rate, and FX underlyings
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for investment product settlement
- Knowledge of accounting concepts, trade settlement, and process re-engineering
- Operational risk and controls awareness
- Market operations knowledge
- Interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Degree, preferably in banking and finance
- Private Banking, digital, or Avaloq knowledge preferred
Responsibilities
- Support settlement and daily operations for structured products
- Perform trade checking and monitor lifecycle events
- Manage structured product settlement activities
- Ensure operations comply with regulatory, internal, and risk management requirements
- Oversee trade booking and settlement for structured products
- Resolve failed trades and operational exceptions
- Manage custodian funding
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations
- Review and update workflows and SOPs
- Assist the Team Head with team management and development
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders on service concerns and system performance
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational incidents
