About the Role
You will oversee and coordinate general office operations to ensure the office runs smoothly each day. You will supervise, mentor, train, and coach office management staff and delegate assignments to maximize productivity. You will implement and maintain office procedures and administrative systems, coordinate domestic and international travel bookings, manage the office budget, keep health and safety policies up to date, procure supplies and equipment, draft contracts and playbooks, organize maintenance to keep facilities and appliances operational, and report office progress to senior management while working with them to improve operations and procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- Degree or professional experience in Administration or logistics
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Fluent in Wolof
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with experience managing complex office environments
- Proven track record dealing with external vendors and negotiating costs
