About the Role

You will build and lead the enterprise technology function, owning IT Support, Systems Engineering, and IT Automation while remaining hands-on technically. You will architect and administer Google Workspace at scale, define and optimize the SaaS portfolio and IAM practices, and oversee endpoint strategy and MDM. You will design and execute an automation roadmap that leverages AI to scale support and remove manual work, support audit and compliance efforts by creating self-service evidence tooling, and partner with security, people, and business stakeholders to deliver cross-functional initiatives. You will set team goals, develop career frameworks, and occasionally resolve escalated technical issues while maintaining clear documentation and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • People management experience leading technical teams in enterprise technology or IT operations
  • Experience managing enterprise environments at scale including distributed or remote-first organizations
  • Deep expertise with Google Workspace administration including security and organizational policies
  • Experience managing diverse SaaS portfolios and vendor relationships
  • Strong foundation in IAM principles and experience implementing access governance
  • Track record leading cross-functional technical initiatives from definition through delivery
  • Experience in regulated industries or environments with compliance requirements
  • Ownership mentality and ability to define solutions independently in ambiguous environments

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a team spanning IT Support Systems Engineering and IT Automation
  • Own strategy and administration of Google Workspace
  • Manage the SaaS application portfolio and drive license optimization and consolidation
  • Implement and govern IAM practices and access governance
  • Oversee endpoint strategy and administer MDM for ChromeOS macOS and mobile devices
  • Define and execute the enterprise automation roadmap leveraging AI
  • Support IT audit and compliance by providing evidence and building self-service tooling
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and align priorities
  • Establish documentation standards and communication frameworks
  • Resolve escalated technical issues
