About the Role
You will oversee mechanical system delivery for hyperscale data centre projects, coordinating design, construction, commissioning, testing, and handover. You will manage interfaces with other disciplines, review technical documentation, monitor progress and risks, maintain quality and safety standards, and coordinate contractors and consultants.
Requirements
- 7+ years of mechanical delivery experience, including data centre or mission-critical projects
- Mechanical or Building Services Engineering qualification or related degree
- Knowledge of HVAC, liquid cooling, piping, plant infrastructure, and mechanical controls
- Experience coordinating design, installation, and commissioning
- Communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of project reporting and scheduling tools
- Fluent English
- Norwegian language skills are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee mechanical construction activities
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and HSE regulations
- Review design drawings, submittals, and technical documentation
- Manage interfaces between mechanical systems and other disciplines
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and support schedule recovery planning
- Oversee quality assurance, inspections, testing, and commissioning
- Support integrated systems testing and system verification
- Conduct coordination meetings with contractors and consultants
- Promote safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
