About the Role
You will manage material schedules and budgets for defense programs, forecast material sales, manage EACs and accruals, identify supply-and-demand gaps, resolve critical shortages, coordinate supplier deliveries, manage program risks and opportunities, and present supply-chain status to program, leadership, and customer audiences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 10 years of supply-chain planning experience, bachelor's degree with 6 years, or master's degree with 4 years
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency
- Material program management or supply-chain management experience on prime defense programs
- Written, verbal, presentation, program-management, and budget-management skills
- U.S. person status or eligibility to obtain required export authorization
Responsibilities
- Manage material schedules and budgets
- Prepare EACs, material sales forecasts, accruals, and cost-account management activities
- Present supply-chain status in program, leadership, and customer briefings
- Solve supply-chain problems using data-driven strategies
- Identify program risks and opportunities
- Identify and eliminate supply-and-demand gaps
- Escalate and resolve critical material shortages
- Implement solutions for current and future material shortages
- Coordinate and optimize delivery schedules with critical suppliers
- Drive continuous improvement
