About the Role
You will lead end-to-end materials planning for production. You will translate build plans into material requirements, maintain demand data, optimize inventory, manage shortages and allocations, own clear-to-build reporting, coordinate supply-chain activities, and improve planning processes.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations experience
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing or complex hardware environments
- Proficiency with ERP and MRP systems
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and demand modeling
- Ability to analyze part-consumption and manufacturing-performance trends
- Communication skills for translating data into actionable insights
Responsibilities
- Own module-level demand planning and translate build plans into material requirements
- Maintain the master demand file
- Analyze manufacturing yields and consumption trends
- Manage part allocation plans and part-change cutovers
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels, turns, and consumption
- Own the Part Request Approval process
- Own daily clear-to-build reporting
- Identify and resolve material constraints
- Oversee purchase-order releases, ETA tracking, and inventory reconciliation
- Support tactical purchasing for shortages
- Resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies
- Prepare data-driven executive presentations
- Implement planning-process improvements
