About the Role
You will create recurring inventory reports, dashboards, and scorecards; analyze discrepancies across sites and partners; and support cycle-count planning and execution. You will reconcile inventory records, investigate exceptions, document corrective actions, maintain audit-ready evidence, and improve inventory-control processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in inventory analysis, inventory control, manufacturing operations, logistics, supply chain operations, warehouse operations, or a related field
- Understanding of cycle counting, variance analysis, inventory adjustments, reconciliation, receiving, transfers, scrap, MRB, RMA, and physical inventory controls
- Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple sites, warehouses, contract manufacturers, 3PLs, or external partners
- Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills, including lookups, pivot tables, formulas, data comparisons, exception reporting, and large-data-set analysis
- Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory reporting systems
- Understanding of supply chain practices, including purchasing, receiving, manufacturing flow, inventory movement, logistics, and partner inventory management
Responsibilities
- Create and improve inventory reports, dashboards, and scorecards
- Analyze inventory data to identify mismatches, root causes, process gaps, and risks
- Support cycle-count planning, execution, discrepancy tracking, and closure reporting
- Monitor cycle-count adherence and investigate variances
- Partner with operational and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and corrective actions
- Reconcile inventory balances across ERP, WMS, partner reports, physical counts, transfers, receiving records, and shipment evidence
- Track open inventory exceptions and aging items
- Maintain audit-ready documentation
- Improve inventory-control processes and reporting
